Personal access to role-specific safeguarding learning. Easy to navigate and highly informative for parents/families, coaches, sports managers and safeguarding officers.

i-Protect Safeguarding Club Badge (FREE)

Whole-club training and a wide variety of templates and resources resulting in the coveted ‘i-Protect Club Badge’. We can also offer assistance from Safe Sport International associates to develop your club safeguarding strategy.

Custom Branded Safeguarding Training for Your Sport or Nation

We can offer co-branded provision of i-Protect content for your specific sport(s) and audience(s). This is a managed service, particularly suitable for whole federations and sporting councils/bodies.

Yes, all i-Protect learning is (and always will be) completely free of charge.

Each course will take you around 90 minutes to complete. This includes reading all textual content and watching any videos.

The exception to this is the introductory course, which may take you 2-3 hours in total.

Don’t worry, you can always do a little, then come back another time to do more!

i-Protect provides a fantastic foundation in sport-related safeguarding, intended for informational purposes only.

Completion of the i-Protect course material does not constitute a formal qualification or certification.

i-Protect is an international project co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Union. The learning content has been written by a range of safeguarding experts and sports professionals. This includes Karen Leach (Safe Sport Advocate, Safe Sport International Associate Consultant) and Sergio Lara-Bercial (Leeds Beckett University). Also Prof Kari Fasting and research experts from Edgehill University (UK) and Thomas More University (Belgium), informed by survivors such as Gloria Viseras (Spain).

We don’t allow self-hosting of i-Protect, however we are working towards ‘Co-Branded’ provision of content.

This will allow you to integrate your own branding across your audience(s).

Yes – where a club has secured the i-Protect Club Badge, individuals may have their account linked by providing details of the club and their association with it.
