Creating the next generation of safe sport ambassadors.

Our SSI internships add a fresh dynamic and energy to our operations, helping us run smoothly and communicate effectively.

The SSI Intern program is an opportunity to put your studies and experience into practice – volunteering your time, connecting with leading experts in safe sport and contributing to SSI. We work with a small number of Interns each year on a short term basis in blocks of 100 hours input.

She conducted her master’s research on gender inequality within sports organisations at Korea National Sport University and is interested in eradicating various abuses, violence, and inequalities from sports and building diversity and inclusiveness.

To ensure a robust understanding of the field, she conducted a thorough literature review, identifying gaps in current research, particularly regarding how technology is adapted across sectors for safeguarding. Additionally, Hye Jin developed a survey targeted at companies using technology for safeguarding to understand their practices and challenges. This comprehensive research provided valuable insights that helped shape our understanding of the current landscape and informed future strategies in the safeguarding sector.
